Federer's surprise overhead smash against Paul Capdeville at the 2007 US Open. In alot of ways this point summed up the match: despite a determined and fired up opponent in Capdeville, Federer won easily with superior strength, timing, athleticism, grace and elegance. Tennis fans of the 1990s will remember that nobody did it better than Pistol Pete, but it was nice to see Fed put on a show for the fans in New York amidst an otherwise swift and decisive victory.
