This is a response to the video entitled "Roger Federer - beauty points against Andre Agassi, New York, 2005". This video is intended as an evaluation of Agassi's skills in handling Federer during his prime. This is not meant to suggest anything negative about Roger Federer, but to clear up any misconcpetions that Agassi was "too old" to beat him or that Federer had dominated him in this match as certain other "highlight" reels of this matched seemed to portray. Federer did in fact win this match 6-3, 2-6, 7-6, 6-1. As the greatest player of all time, Roger Federer clearly deserves his props! He was ranked number 1 in the world at the time, seeded first and as the defending champion who had a much easier road to the final than Agassi, Federer was expected to win this match relatively easily. However, Agassi the 8 time grandslam champion proved that he would be no pushover here and that he too could have won this match. At many times he even made Federer look surprisingly mediocre. For the true Andre Agassi fans, enjoy!
