Marat Safin - This is Home.I made video for Safin's fan and tennis's fan. Marat Safin is a legend of tennis because he is one of the most talented players in 21st centuries. His backhand is unique, a special guy on court and off court. Why did I choose the name of this video is "This is Home" ? Actually, my idea for making this video began with a song, and I wanted to make this video after seeing some Safin's matches in Paris Masters Series. Safin won Paris Masters Series three times in 2000, 2002, 2004. He also finished runner-up in his first appearance in 1999 (lost to Agassi in the final). His record in Paris is 25 -5. He is the second man in this tournament to win three times, the first one who achieved is Boris Becker. Safin is the first Russian player ever to win US Open in 2000. He defeated home favourite Pete Sampras in straight sets. Five years later, in 2005 he saved one match point in one of the most dramatic matches in Australian Open history to beat Roger Federer in 9-7 in fifth set. In the final he defeated another home favourite Lleyton Hewiit in four sets. Australian Open 2005 is also his last single title in his career.In 2004 Safin is also the first player to win back-to-back indoor masters series. He won Madrid Masters Series and Paris Masters Series.
