The Belmont is the longest and toughest of the three classics and Big Brown missed three days of training, though trainer Rick Dutrow insisted all last week that the small crack in the colt's left hoof was a "non-issue." Desormeaux, said afterward that Big Brown "was in no way, shape or form lame or sore."
