Steffi Graf - In my opinion, this was the most important game and point of that 1999 French Open. Advantage for Seles after the 3rd Deuce. Steffi wins the point with a great forehand. In 1992, Steffi missed with the same inside-in forehand on match point. Not this time. Had Steffi lost this point, I strongly believe that Seles would have evened the second set and that Steffi would have begun to doubt herself. By comparison, Hingis never really came this close to really making Steffi doubt herself in the final. Hingis never got to match point and Steffi didn't have a history of losing close sets to Hingis.
