The unofficial visitor's guide to Roland-Garros (The French Open Tennis Championships) held every spring in Paris, including ticketing information and how to get there. To buy tickets go to: http://rolandgarros.billetterie.fft.fr/ukThere are 4 types of tickets: Philippe-Chatrier (Central Court) plus outside courts, Suzanne-Lenglen Court plus outside courts Court N°1 plus outside courts and also just outside courts or ground access tickets. If you have outside court tickets your best bet is go straight to court 2 or 3 as queues get ridiculous to get in later. The ticket(s) will be delivered to your e-mail as pdf attachments. If you buy more than one ticket all tickets will be in your name, so you will need to log in and transfer them to the people who will be going with you to the tournament. The e-tickets then need to be printed and will be scanned at the entrance gate of the stadium where a pass will be printed in the name of ticketholder. These will then be checked against an ID to enter the stadium. You used to be able to buy tickets on the day if you queued very early, but that ended in 2010.There will be loads of people selling tickets around the stadium but at rip-off prices and no guaranties. Leave a comment if you have any experience buying tickets this way!In 2010 they would release a few afternoon tickets on their website at 12:00 (I think - don't quote me on that though) and you can get in from 14:00 (again, not 100% sure on the exact time) onwards so if all else fails try that.If you want best value tennis racquet stringing in Dublin you need to check out our website: http://www.dublinstringer.com
